Becoming One Takes time and willingness

Research has found an increase in the trend of unmarried couples living together in the United States and this group has had the highest separation rate than their married counterpart. Let me tell you, the marriage vow is just a promise that you make to each other in the presence of God. After that, what follows is diligently working hard to keep that promise you made. An understanding of this will give you a completely different prospective on the journey of marriage. Why then do couples separate before the harvest that comes as a result of that seed which is the promise to become one?
Ephesians 5:31 says...that a man and his wife shall become one flesh. This I tell you takes some time, the wedding vow is a promise not to give up on each other no matter what the case maybe; inspite of your differences, sickness and successes.
It is critical that one understand the differences between men and women in making your marriage work. These differences are elements that can easily build and can also be the forces that break it apart. Love simply helps you to see the good in someone even if he/she cannot see it for herself.
A lot of people do not know how to maintain what they have through contentment. Throughout my research on marriage, I have found that contentment is one of the most important keys in unlocking bliss for an enjoyable love/marriage relationship in life.
