Some of the signs that your spouse is cheating:
This is not in anyway a complete list, rather a highlight of some obvious sign of cheating.
1. Spending a lot of time in the computer or private phone calls- for instance when the cell phone rings, he/she might grab the phone quickly and slowly walk away.
2. Sudden change in routine
3. looking for the slightest reason to argue.
4. Too Happy / or moody - This one was added by my co-worker, unusually happy.
5. enrolls in a rigorous workout or dieting.
6. Avoids spending time with you.
The question now is what does the bible say about cheating?
Although the word cheating in the context of marriage does not appear in the bible, the elements that make up the act is clearly addressed in the word of God. The bible says that if you love your neighbor, you will not take anything that belongs to him, this includes his property, their wife or husband. James 4:17So whoever knows the right thing to do and fails to do it, for him it is sin. Proverbs 12:22 Lying lips are an abomination to the Lord, but those who act faithfully are his delight. Galatians 6:7-8 Do not be deceived: God is not mocked, for whatever one sows, that will he also reap. For the one who sows to his own flesh will from the flesh reap corruption, but the one who sows to the Spirit will from the Spirit reap eternal life. Colossians 3:9 Do not lie to one another, seeing that you have put off the old self with its practices. I must say that one needs to first put off self, which you do by giving your life to Christ. It is then that you receive the strength to withstand all the firey darts of the enemy. These darts can come in different forms and one way can be covetiousness and lust of the flesh which can ultimately lead to cheating. Luke 6:31 And as you wish that others would do to you, do so to them.
Lastly, Hebrews 13:4, Let marriage be held in honor among all, and let the marriage bed be undefiled, for God will judge the sexually immoral and adulterous.
